Start with strip type, PCB width, contact layout and the connection route. A matching width is useful for shortlisting, but does not establish compatibility by itself.

COB or SMD: what should I send?

Share the strip reference and clear photos of the cut end, copper pads and coating. Include PCB width, contact count and polarity markings. This helps check contact position and housing fit before choosing a connector.

Strip-to-wire or strip-to-strip?

Strip-to-wire connections bring cable to the strip. Strip-to-strip connections join strip sections. For a corner or gap, describe the required direction and space, and check that the chosen model supports that route.

Are all 2-pin or 4-pin connectors interchangeable?

No. Pin count must be considered together with width, pad layout, strip construction and the exact connector design. Check the strip markings rather than relying only on a single-color or RGB label.

Can a connector preserve a waterproof strip's protection?

A coated strip does not automatically make the joint waterproof. Confirm the connector, strip coating, cable entry and sealing arrangement for the complete connection and the intended environment.

What is needed for a wholesale quotation?

Send the strip specification or sample reference, connection route, cable requirement if applicable, trial quantity, expected order quantity and destination market. Confirm a matched sample before repeating the order.

ELIX is not one connector shape. The right route depends on the LED strip, installation space, protection requirement, current load and whether the project needs leads or accessories. Matching this early helps avoid wrong samples and wasted installation time.

Strip type

Confirm COB or SMD, copper pad layout, cut point and whether 2-pin COB/SMD shared models are acceptable.

Width, pins and current

Check 5 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm or other strip width, pin count and current requirement.

Installation route

Choose strip-to-wire, strip-to-strip, corner, same-width, high-current, waterproof or pre-wired lead routes.
